Nano Account

A cent-based micro-lot account for traders entering the market with small capital or running live tests with minimal risk.

The Nano Account at MondFx uses cent-sized balances so a $1 move in the market shows up as $0.01 in your account. It is built for traders who want to trade live conditions with real money — but with the risk per trade scaled down by 100x.

What is the Nano Account?

On a Nano account, balances are denominated in cents instead of dollars. If you deposit $50, your account shows 5,000 cents. Every metric you see — equity, margin, P&L — operates at that cent scale, so the math of a real account applies but the dollar exposure is one hundred times smaller.

This is the closest thing to a live demo: it behaves exactly like a real account, with real spreads, real execution, real slippage — but the risk of any single mistake is tiny.

Nano account features

The defining specs:

  • Cent-based balancesEquity, margin, and P&L all calculated in cents — a $50 deposit gives you a 5,000-cent account.
  • Micro-lot tradingPosition sizes go down to the smallest tradable lot supported on the platform, so risk per trade is meaningful but controllable.
  • Real market conditionsSpreads, slippage, fills, and execution all behave exactly like a live account — because it is a live account.
  • MetaTrader 5Available on MT5, the same platform used across the rest of the brokerage.
  • Minimum deposit $50 (cent-based)The lowest entry point at MondFx — designed so capital is never the barrier to live testing.

Who is this account for?

This account is built for two profiles: beginners who want to trade live (not just demo) without putting serious money on the line, and experienced traders who want to forward-test a new strategy under real conditions before scaling up. If you already have a working strategy and meaningful capital, move to Standard or ECN — Nano is a starting point, not a destination.

How to open a Nano account

Standard flow, same as any account type:

  1. Sign in to your MondFx client area and complete KYC if you haven't yet.
  2. Open Accounts → Create new account and pick Nano from the list.
  3. Set base currency and leverage, then confirm. Credentials are issued immediately.
  4. Fund the account with as little as $50 — your balance will show in cents (5,000 cents for a $50 deposit).
Important to know
Because balances and P&L are in cents, gains and losses look 100x larger than they are in dollars. Treat the cent display as a scaling factor, not a real magnitude — and remember that a strategy that works profitably on Nano needs to be re-tested with proper position sizing before you scale it up to a Standard or ECN account.
