What is the Pro ECN Account?
Pro ECN is an unbundled-pricing account: the spread you see on screen is the raw market spread coming from MondFx's liquidity providers, and the broker fee is charged separately as a fixed commission per traded lot.
This separation is the standard professional setup. It makes the cost of each trade explicit, makes spread comparison across instruments meaningful, and on tight, liquid pairs it is consistently cheaper per trade than any spread-only model.
Pro ECN account features
The defining specs:
- Spreads from 0.0 — Raw, unmarked-up spread sourced directly from liquidity providers. On major pairs in active hours, 0.0 pips is normal.
- Flat per-lot commission — A single transparent fee per traded lot, independent of spread. Your true trading cost is easy to model in advance.
- MT5 and cTrader — Both platforms supported — cTrader is popular on this account for its depth-of-market display and order-execution detail.
- Leverage up to 1:500 — Professional leverage tier — enough flexibility to run sophisticated position sizing across multiple instruments.

Who is this account for?
This account is for traders who actually need raw pricing — scalpers, intraday systems, news traders, and any strategy where the difference between a 0.1 pip spread and a 1.0 pip spread changes whether the strategy is profitable. For longer-timeframe or low-frequency strategies, the ECN or Standard accounts are simpler to operate and usually cheaper overall once you account for the commission.
How to open a Pro ECN account
Standard flow from the client area:
- Sign in to your MondFx client area and finish KYC if you haven't yet.
- Go to Accounts → Create new account and select Pro ECN.
- Pick base currency, leverage, and platform — cTrader is the common choice for scalping-oriented setups, but MT5 is fully supported.
- Fund the account from your wallet or by direct deposit. Trading opens as soon as the funds are credited.
