Standard Account

What is the Standard Account?

It is a regular live trading account with standard spread-based pricing — the cost of trading is built into the spread instead of split across spread plus commission. It runs on the same execution stack as the rest of the brokerage.

Compared to ECN or VIP, conditions are tuned for retail volume: a low minimum deposit, a familiar pricing model, and a single number to look at when comparing cost across instruments.

Standard account features

The defining specs:

• Minimum deposit $100 — The lowest entry point on a regular account — fund a live account and start trading without committing serious capital up front.
• Spread-based pricing — All trading cost is built into the spread. No separate commission line, no per-lot math — what you see is what you pay.
• MT5 and cTrader — Choose the platform you prefer; both are supported on the Standard account.
• Leverage up to 1:500 — Standard retail leverage so you can run a meaningful position even at small account sizes.
• Negative-balance protection — Your account cannot go below zero — extreme market moves cannot put you in debt to the broker.

Who is this account for?

This account fits new and intermediate traders who want a simple way into the market without the complexity of commission accounting, raw-spread pricing, or premium tiers. It is also the default account most people use to test MondFx's platforms before deciding whether to move to ECN, Pro ECN, or VIP later.

How to open a Standard account

Opening one takes a couple of minutes:

1. Register or sign in to your MondFx client area and complete KYC verification.
2. Open Accounts → Create new account and pick Standard from the account-type list.
3. Choose your base currency, leverage, and platform (MT5 or cTrader). Credentials are issued immediately.
4. Fund the account with as little as $100 from your wallet or by direct deposit, and start trading.
